Southern Cross Community Care provides a diverse range of services designed to maximise dignity and independence for those people living in their own homes. All staff are appropriately qualified and supervised by highly experienced Registered Nurses. A 24-hour phone service is available to all clients in cases of emergency.

The emphasis is on quality flexible care delivered by one qualified carer rather than several different people delivering care to the client. The match of carer to client is pivotal to enhancing quality of life to those who choose our care.

The range of services include:

• 40 Community Aged Care Packages in the greater Hobart area for people assessed as eligible by the Aged Care Assessment Team.
• Contracted provider of services to Veteran's Home Care clients
• An In Home Service providing a wide range of flexible services on a fee for service basis to assist people in their own homes.
• In Home Diversional Therapy to provide respite for carers of clients living with dementia.
• Support and advice for all Southern Cross Care residents living in independent accommodation.
