Southern Cross Training
Southern Cross Care Training is a division of Southern Cross Care (Tas) Inc. It is a Registered Training Organisation that delivers quality, aged care-specific Nationally Accredited courses.
Southern Cross Care Training is committed to excellence in training and assessment. All staff have extensive recent experience in the aged care industry and are highly qualified in vocational education and training. Emphasis is placed on innovative approaches to training delivery to meet the constant changes of the aged care sector.
Courses available
Southern Cross Care Training currently provides full-time and part-time courses in:
- Certificate III and IV in Aged Care Work
- Certificate IV in Community Services (Lifestyle and Leisure)
- Diploma in Community Services (Lifestyle and Leisure)
- Refresher - Senior First Aid (Level 2)
- Resuscitation Certificate (CPR)
Traineeships are available to some staff that meet New Apprenticeship Centre guidelines. For details contact the Training Manager.
